No, France does not offer free education. There is usually a fee involved in studying in France. If you are not from any of the EEA countries or Switzerland or are already a permanent resident, you will have to pay even higher tuition fees in France for the public and private universities. The only way you can get a free education in France if you are able to win one of the Scholarships offered either by organizations or European Union.

If you are not a citizen of one of the Schengen countries, then you may require a visa to study in France depending on your nationality.

You can work if you have a student visa in France. The number of hours you are allowed to work per week is 20. You have no restriction on working full-time in France if you work during your academic breaks.

You can apply to an Institution in France by following these steps:
1. Find the Courses and Institution you are interested in.
2. Research the courses and Institution’ websites.
3. Prepare your documents needed.
4. Submit documents to Qualify for Preliminary Evaluation and video Interview of your eligibility.
If qualify then you will need to appear for the Video Interview organised by the institution

French Institutions and Campus France does not require IELTS as per say, however they do demand language proficiency equivalent of IELTS 6.0 and a document accompanying confirming the candidates former education was taught in English. However for good visa ratio it is highly recommended by Qualiify for students to take IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any globally recognized language tests.

To study in France as an international student, there are a few general requirements. Previous mark sheets, degrees, and diplomas are among the supporting documents required for France in addition to the application from the university. The other significant requirements include:

The application procedure for Campus France typically takes three weeks, and it takes 15 working days to process a student visa for France. The students should start the visa process at least 90 days before to the planned travel date or as soon as they obtain an acceptance letter.

If you are planning to study at Spanish universities, you have to decide the course and university first. Then you have to start the process by researching the admission process on the university websites of that selected university. You will be required to collect a few documents as per the university’s admission requirement for the application process. Apply and get your offer letter. Once your admission is confirmed apply for a student visa for Spain. Obtain it and fly to Spain for your studies.

As an international student, you can only work in Spain for 20 hours per week on the condition of staying for more than 90 days. You will be able to find part-time employment. Many international students work part-time with their studies to earn an extra income. Working while studying in Spain will enhance your language skills, allow you to build a network, and fund your weekend adventures.

To get admission to a Spanish university, you will be required to submit some of the supporting documents along with the filled application. These documents include your transcripts and certificate, proof of Spanish/English proficiency, statement of purpose, letter of recommendation, a valid passport, and Resume.
